About
We are a visual creative team based in Bali, creating photographs, films and digital experiences for people, brands and celebrations.
Founded on the belief that honest emotion outlasts trendy visual formulas.
Nura Films was established in Bali by a collective of visual artists, cinematographers, and designers drawn together by a shared devotion to documentary craftsmanship.
Having lived alongside Bali’s vibrant ceremonial life and rugged coastlines for over a decade, we bring deep cultural reverence and contemporary international taste to every commission.
Quiet observation over rigid orchestration.
Most wedding photography forces couples into awkward micro-managed postures. We work differently. We create a spacious, calm environment where you can simply exist, breathe, and savor your people.
Our cameras are silent observers. We look for subtle glances, shadows draping limestone walls, hands intertwined beneath the dinner table, and the joyful abandon of dancing under tropical rain.
In post-production, we honor natural skin tones and organic film textures rather than heavy synthetic filters. The result is an archive that feels just as evocative fifty years from now.
Organic Light
Working with Bali's golden hour, equatorial shadows, and candlelight.
Hybrid Mediums
Archival 35mm film grain harmonized with ultra-sharp digital cinema.

An island home, an international horizon.
Our physical studio is nestled between the surf breaks of Canggu and the limestone bluffs of Uluwatu. We know the rhythm of the tides, the hidden volcanic plateaus of Kintamani, and the ceremonial calendars of village temples.
While Bali remains our grounding sanctuary, our passports are always ready. Each season we travel across the Indonesian archipelago (Sumba, Komodo, Raja Ampat) and worldwide for destination celebrations from Lake Como and Kyoto to the Mediterranean coast.
